These terms and conditions govern your use of the blend.ie website and the purchase of products from blend.ie. By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

blend.ie is a company registered in Ireland with our registered address in Scarriff, Co. Clare, Ireland. We sell roasted coffee online, including single-origin coffees and custom blends in 250g and 1kg bags.

2. Ordering Process

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products. The order process works as follows:

1. You add products to your cart and proceed to checkout.
2. You provide your delivery and payment details.
3. You review your order and submit it. This constitutes your offer to purchase.
4. We send you an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.
5. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are displayed in Euro (EUR) and include all applicable taxes. blend.ie is not currently registered for VAT.

We make every effort to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you to inform you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

Payment is taken at the time of order. We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through our payment provider.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to Ireland and the European Union.

Delivery Times

• Ireland: 3–5 business days
• European Union: 5–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. As our coffee is roasted to order, please allow additional time for preparation. We will notify you when your order has been dispatched.

5. Right of Cancellation

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

However, please note that food products are exempt from the right of cancellation where they have been unsealed after delivery, or where the goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. As coffee is a perishable food product:

• Sealed bags: may be returned within 14 days if the packaging remains sealed and intact
• Opened bags: cannot be returned for a refund due to food safety regulations, unless the product is defective

6. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and tasting notes on our website are accurate. However, colours and appearances may vary slightly due to screen display differences. Minor variations in flavour profile may occur between batches, as is natural with coffee.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, and software, is the property of blend.ie or its licensors and is protected by Irish and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, blend.ie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the price you paid for the product in question.

Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you also have the right to submit a dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
